How we work

Coaching for the relationship you already have

Sessions are structured conversations. We slow down the moments that usually fly past — the check-in that went sideways, the date that felt loaded, the agreement nobody quite remembers signing up for.

What we tend to cover

You set the agenda. These are the themes couples most often bring. None of them require you to already be “good at polyamory”, and none of them assume you want the same shape of relationship as anyone else.

Opening, or reopening, with intention

Curiosity is not a plan. We map hopes, fears, time, and energy so you are not negotiating from a headline (“we should try this”) without a picture of daily life.

Jealousy as information

Jealousy is treated as a signal, not a character flaw. We practise noticing it early, speaking it cleanly, and choosing a next step that is not punishment or disappearance.

Agreements that can breathe

Rules written in a rush tend to snap. Coaching looks at what an agreement is for, how you will know it is failing, and how you will revise it without a crisis.

Communication under pressure

When one of you is excited and the other is raw, talk often becomes debate. We build a slower pattern: what happened, what it meant, what you need now.

The shape of the work

  1. A first enquiry. You write (together, if you can) about what is happening and what you want from coaching. There is no obligation to continue.
  2. A conversation about fit. If it looks useful, we arrange an initial session to see how you work as a pair in the room.
  3. Ongoing sessions. We work session by session. You decide the pace. Between meetings you may leave with a small practice — a question to sit with, not homework for its own sake.

Who this is — and is not — for

A good fit if you

  • are two adults wanting to explore or steady ethical non-monogamy together
  • are willing to speak for yourselves, not only about each other
  • want structure without being told there is one correct lifestyle

Not the right room if you

  • need crisis, legal, or clinical mental health care — please use those services first
  • want someone to referee a breakup or to “convert” a reluctant partner
  • are looking for therapy, counselling, or a diagnosis
